2. Language selection

The homepage may use a country code supplied by the web server for language selection. If no such code is available, the browser language is used. A manually selected language is stored in a technically necessary first-party cookie.

3. Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted with IONOS (1&1). When the site is accessed, the hosting provider may process technically necessary connection data such as IP address, date and time, browser type and requested page.

4. Processing your documents

Selected PDF and image files are processed locally in the browser for the tools provided. Document contents are not transferred to or stored by the operator.

5. External JavaScript libraries

PDF functions load pdf-lib from jsDelivr and PDF.js from cdnjs. When these libraries are requested, technical connection data, particularly the IP address, may be transmitted to the respective CDN providers. Your selected PDF and image files are not transmitted to these providers.

6. Technically necessary cookie

If you manually select a language, the choice is stored in the first-party cookie “site_lang”. It is used solely to retain your language choice for later visits.

7. Data subject rights

Subject to the legal requirements, you may in particular have rights to access, correction, erasure, restriction of processing and to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
